Makenzie

Makenzie
Makenzie joined Hosanna Animal Hospital in August 2026 with a lifelong love of animals and a passion for supporting their health and well-being. Before entering veterinary medicine, she served in the U.S. Army as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for more than three years, bringing valuable healthcare experience and a strong desire to care for others to her new role.
What Makenzie finds most rewarding about veterinary medicine is being part of a team that helps bring health, healing, and happiness to pets and their families. She loves that every day offers an opportunity to learn something new and is especially interested in innovative and integrative approaches to treatment that complement conventional Western medicine.
Above all, Makenzie wants every client and pet she meets to feel safe, heard, and genuinely cared for while at Hosanna.
A Titusville native, Makenzie joined the Army after high school and recently returned to Florida after spending two years in Germany. She and her husband have been married for nearly seven years and have two young daughters, along with their Border Collie, Callie, and cat, Figaro. Outside of work, she loves going to the beach and spending time with her family.
